With the aim of attracting tourists, local youths are planning to dam the river in Ridi and build a lake. Eight local youths are planning to build the lake with their own investment, focusing on the Maghi Mela.

For now, the plan is to build a temporary lake and operate it until Jestha. Youth is planning to build a permanent lake with an RCC dam next year. After the construction of the lake is completed, it will be put into operation within two to four days. In which two jet boats will be put into operation. The petrol-powered boat will have a capacity of 11 tourists. Boats will be operated in the lake at a cost of 300 rupees per tourist.

The lake, which is 400 meters long and 60 meters wide, will be about four meters deep in the initial phase. Local youth have urged to continue the construction of the adventure sports zipline, which was planned to be built near the lake built for the upliftment of Reedy, but was stopped in the middle.

The recent construction of the three-pronged bridge at Rurukshetradham, the confluence of Gulmi, Palpa and Syangja, has contributed to the development of tourism along with ease of travel. Local youth are now demanding that a zipline be built in addition to the lake that will be built.
