Ram Kumari Jhankri has registered her nomination from UML for the National Assembly member election to be held on Magh 11. She registered her nomination from Lumbini Province under the women's quota at the office of the Returning Officer in Ghorahi.
Jhankri had returned to UML only on Kartik 24. Along with her, leaders including Krishna Kumar Shrestha had returned to UML . Even though the CPN (Maoist) formed the Nepali Communist Party in unity with parties including the Unified Socialist Maoist Center, Jhankri and other leaders have returned to UML.
