The bodies of two workers found dead at Kajaria Tiles in Bardaghat Municipality-12, West Nawalparasi, have been taken for postmortem.

Assistant Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office, West Nawalparasi, Poshan Raj Bhandari said that it was agreed to close the industry until the demands of the victims are addressed, conduct a postmortem of the bodies, and hold talks in the presence of an official of the industry regarding the relief and compensation to be given to the victims. 

Hom Bahadur Thapa, 40, of West Bardaghat Municipality-13, Nawalparasi, and Binod Kumar, 30, of Pratapgarh district, Uttar Pradesh, India, who had gone to work on Wednesday evening, were found dead inside the industry on Poush 17. 

When the police arrived, the bodies of the two workers were found lying on a 'gassy fire poking floor', and the relatives of the deceased had protested all day. The police and relatives have been taken to Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Rupandehi for a postmortem. 

Himanshu Agrawal, manager of Kajaria Tiles Industry, said that the tragic incident had taken place and that they were also understanding the matter. He said that the truth about the incident would come out only after the postmortem.

The relatives of the deceased have demanded Rs 10 million in relief, employment and higher education for the deceased's children.
