Memorandum from Awadhi Journalists Association to the Federation of Nepali Journalists

The District Committee of the Awadhi Journalists' Association, an organization of Awadhi-speaking media workers, has submitted a memorandum to the District Branch of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, demanding the rights and capacity enhancement of Awadhi-speaking journalists.

The team led by the president of the association, Manish Kumar Gupta, submitted a memorandum to the president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Dilaram Bhusal, at the Taulihawa branch office with a 5-point demand.

It has also been demanded that various types of training be organized to enhance the skills, efficiency and capacity of Awadhi-speaking journalists and that the participation of the Awadhi Journalists Association, like other organizations, be ensured in the Federation of Nepali Journalists. 

Similarly, it has been demanded that initiatives be taken to provide membership to the members of the Awadhi Journalists Association who have not received membership and that a room with management be provided within the building of the Federation of Nepali Journalists for the operation of the Awadhi Journalists Association District Committee Office.

Similarly, the Secretary of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Brijesh Yadav, said that the Federation of Nepali Journalists has demanded that the Federation of Nepali Journalists take the initiative by coordinating with the concerned bodies to ensure the mandatory participation of the Awadhi Journalists Association in the programs to be run by the district offices and organizations.
