Bardaghat Municipality in West Nawalparasi has declared a three-day school holiday starting Wednesday due to the increasing cold wave.

The municipality has declared a holiday for three days starting Wednesday for community, religious and institutional schools in the city after the cold weather and cold wave that have been affecting public life for a week.

The holiday was granted because children were having trouble going to and from school due to the cold weather and it was affecting their health, said Bardaghat Municipality Education Officer Dilliraj Dhungana.

Public life has been affected by the cold weather and cold wave that has been prevailing in the district for the past few days.
