More than 40 journalists from various media outlets in India and media personnel from the leadership level of national and mofusal media outlets in Nepal are present at the News Festival, which began on Saturday. Chief Minister Acharya said that the contribution of the journalism sector of both countries will be important in further strengthening the relations between Nepal and India through debates and discussions between media personnel from both countries. He said that the News Festival could become a milestone for prosperity and development. Chief Minister Acharya also said that the festival's debate will give a new direction to the tourism, cultural and social development of Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.
