One injured in leopard attack in Rajapur

Sunil Acharya, Senior Forest Officer of the Sub-Division Forest Office, Rajapur, said that 52-year-old Hemraj Budhathoki of the same place was injured in a leopard attack while returning home after valuing the goods.

One person has been injured in a leopard attack in Karmani, Rajapur Municipality-10.

He was attacked near his home on Saturday evening while returning from the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary in India.

Hemraj Budhathoki, 52, of the same place, was injured in a leopard attack while returning home after packing his goods, said Sunil Acharya, Senior Forest Officer of the Sub Division Forest Office, Rajapur.

He said that both legs and the finger of his left hand were injured in the leopard attack. He was taken to the Primary Hospital, Rajapur for treatment. 

From there, he was referred to the Bardiya Hospital, Gularia, for further treatment, said Senior Forest Officer Acharya.
