The motorcyclist, a Tharu, died during treatment. His name was revealed from his license, police said.
One person died in a motorcycle accident in Materia, Bansgadhi Municipality-4, on Thursday morning.
The motorcycle collided with a truck (Suprap 02001 Kha 1188) that was stopping from the west to the east on the Mahendra Highway.
The motorcycle (Bhe 11 Pa 4631) collided with the stopping truck, according to police. The motorcycle driver, Rajesh Tharu, 27, of Bansgadhi Municipality-6, was seriously injured and was brought to Gularia Hospital for treatment, said District Traffic Chief Sandeep Belbase.
According to him, the motorcycle driver Tharu died during treatment. Police said his name was revealed from his license.
The truck driver, Eghraj Dhami, 25, of Bangal Rural Municipality-3, Bajhang, has been taken into custody by the Area Police Office, Bansgadhi.
