A woman died in a leopard attack in Barbardiya Municipality-10 of the district on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the District Police Office, Bardiya, 55-year-old Parbati Dangi, who had gone to Thanfena Community Forest to collect apples, was attacked by a leopard.
The leopard attacked her while she was collecting apples and she died on the spot, informed SP Saroj Poudel of the District Police Office, Bardiya.
