Police have arrested four people, including two Indian nationals, from Lokpurwa, Palhinandan Rural Municipality-4, while they were transporting drugs towards Parasi on an Indian motorcycle, the police said.

Police have arrested four youths with a large quantity of narcotics being smuggled from India. A team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau Bhairahawa Branch and the District Police Office, West Nawalparasi, seized the narcotics from three separate locations in the border area.
According to District Police Information Officer Somdas Dhakal, four people, including two Indian citizens, were arrested while trying to bring drugs into Nawalparasi from the border checkpoint. 6,272 tablets of various types of drugs were seized from them. The same quantity of drugs was seized while they were carrying them on a motorcycle.
Those arrested while transporting drugs are Saharedin Ansari Jolaha, 30, of Padri, Palhinandan Rural Municipality-6, West Nawalparasi, and Krishna Kumar Chaudhary, 19. They were arrested from Pachgawa village of Ramgram Municipality, the district headquarters.
Similarly, two Indian citizens were arrested from Lokpurwa, Palhinandan Rural Municipality-4, while trying to transport drugs to Parasi on an Indian motorcycle, according to the police. Those arrested are Rabin Sul, 24, and Irsad Ali, 27, of Thutibari, India.
