A fire has broken out at an auto workshop and parts center near the Bus Park petrol pump in the district headquarters, Tamghas.
A fire broke out at the Sujata Auto Workshop and Parts Center on Monday afternoon. The workshop was run by Bikram Sunar.
The Resunga Municipality fire brigade is extinguishing the fire at the scene. The fire is almost in the final stages of control. A team led by Gulmi District Police Chief Superintendent of Police Narayan Prasad Adhikari has been deployed at the fire site.
One person was slightly injured while extinguishing the fire. The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment. Initial estimates suggest that the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit. It is said that 15/20 liters of petrol were also stored in the motor parts center a few days ago. This is estimated to have caused the fire to become severe.
