Victory celebrations were held in Gulariya and Basgadhi of Bardiya with the trophy of the Nepal Premier League (NPL)-2.
The Nepal Premier League (NPL)-2 trophy was paraded around the market in Gulariya and Basgadhi of Bardiya, celebrating its victory. The team with the trophy started from the square at the District Police Office in Gulariya and reached Bageshwori Temple after parading around the market.
Lumbini Lions, who won the domestic cricket tournament with a huge sum of money, are celebrating and touring the province. They started from Bageshwori Temple in Nepalgunj and reached Bardiya. After worshipping at Bageshwori Temple and reaching Gulariya, the team including Lions representatives with the trophy was welcomed by Bimal KC, Senior Vice President and Social Activist of the Construction Entrepreneurs Association of Bardiya, and said that they would provide all possible support for the development of cricket.
Locals felt bad that the players did not come with the trophy. The Lions players could not come as the plane did not take off due to bad weather.
