The National Housing Company Limited, located in Bardaghat, West Nawalparasi, has demanded security assurance. The company has stated that the office will be closed indefinitely until security is assured, citing threats and abuse against the office's Planning Chief, Mahendra Thapa, on November 21.

Housing company planning chief Mahendra Thapa held a press conference on Friday and said that the office will be closed until the misbehaving person is taken into custody.

A person who had arrived with a group of 10 people and misbehaved with Thapa, claiming to be a cadre of the Nepal Communist Party majority, had misbehaved with him. They had issued a statement accusing office chief Thapa of corruption and irregularities.

The employees have also demanded that all stakeholders concerned immediately stop such activities that affect peace and security and bring the person involved in the incident to justice.
