Rambha Rural Municipality has launched a five-day integrated mobile camp on Friday with the aim of providing services from the ward level, with 800 citizens availing services on the first day. The rural municipality has been operating the integrated camp to provide necessary services to its citizens at the most convenient places.
Village Municipality Chairman Bishnu Prasad Bhandari said that the camp, which has been operating since the past by managing the annual budget, has been continued considering its effectiveness. ‘We have operated it in a way that the services provided by the village municipality are provided from one place,’ he said, ‘due to this, citizens have felt that they have received services at their doorsteps.’
Chief Administrative Officer Bir Bahadur Pun said that the camp will be held at Rambha Secondary School Tahun in Ward No. 5 on Saturday, Ward No. 2 on Sunday, Ward No. 1 on Monday and the Health Post Building in Pipaldanda Khokkhola in Ward No. 3 on Tuesday.
He said that the largest number of citizens were present at the camp to receive video X-ray, reproductive health services, gynecological camps and counseling services. There was also a rush for eye treatment and free medicine distribution. The number of people taking Ayurveda services has also increased.
Information Officer Suraj Pathak said that there was a rush for education, agriculture, counseling for livestock diseases and distribution of necessary medicines. ‘Those who have signed agreements with provincial, local and ward level schemes seem to be happier,’ he said.
Identity cards have been distributed to the disabled, senior citizens and the poor. Health check-ups with doctors in Humin attracted a crowd of service recipients. Rambha Rural Municipality Public Health Inspector Mahesh Prasad Acharya said that services such as video X-ray service, lab, reproductive health service, gynecologist service, business registration, distribution of senior citizens and poor identity cards have been provided.
Services such as scholarship distribution for poor and helpless students have been provided under the education branch. The rural municipality has stated that all types of services provided by the rural municipality including unemployment list registration, new registration for social security allowance, agricultural technology advice, consultation, distribution of necessary seeds have been provided in the camp.
The integrated camp has technical support from the Health Office, Lions Lakaul Eye Hospital, Nepal Family Planning Association Palpa branch, etc.
