Police have said that a US green card, Indian Aadhaar card and passport were found at the scene of the murder of 27-year-old Neeraj Chaudhary, who worked at Hamar Tharu Ghar Restaurant in Rajapur Municipality-4.

Suspected of involvement in the incident, Mahabir Chaudhary, 51, a resident of Tulsipur Municipality-5 in Dang and working at a poultry farm in Rajapur Municipality, is absconding.

Police Inspector Prakash Singh Karki of the District Police Office, Bardiya said that foreign currency, including a US green card and an Indian Aadhaar card, in Mahabir's name, were recovered from the spot.

Neeraj, who was found unconscious at a Tharu Ghar restaurant at 8 am on Sunday, died during treatment at a teaching hospital in Nepalgunj. Mahabir had escaped on a motorcycle, claiming to be bringing an ambulance.
