Khand, along with regional president Sushil Gurung, Ramesh Khanal, Ramchandra Dhakal, Bimal Dhakal and Govinda Bahadur Khatri, have been recommended from the constituency.
Six candidates, including former Home Minister and Nepali Congress central member Bal Krishna Khand, have been unanimously recommended from Rupandehi Constituency No. 3 for the House of Representatives elections scheduled for February 21.
Regional President Sushil Gurung, Ramesh Khanal, Ramchandra Dhakal, Bimal Dhakal and Govinda Bahadur Khatri have been recommended from the constituency along with Khand.
According to Regional President Gurung, the unanimous candidate recommendation was made at the regional meeting held in Bhairahawa.
Gurung informed that the regional committee has recommended Jannatun Nisha Dhuniya from the minority, Pushpa Tharuni from Tharu and Madhavi Sharma from women for the proportional representation seat of the House of Representatives for the said election.
He said that it has been decided to recommend Somnath Sharma, Bhim Prasad Neupane from Khas Arya, Minnath Sharma from the disabled and Mohan Sardar from the minority for the post of National Assembly member.
