A young man died on Saturday night when a truck hit a motorcycle in Shreegaun, Dang along the Tulsipur-Surkhet road. Another person was seriously injured in the accident.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Gribun Pun of Kalimati Rural Municipality-3, Salyan, who was riding a motorcycle, according to the Area Police Office, Tulsipur.
The motorcycle driver, 29-year-old Ganesh Wali of Babai Rural Municipality-3, Dang, was injured in the accident. After initial treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur, he was taken to Lucknow, India for further treatment, said Police Inspector Binod Raj Khatri, Information Officer of the Area Police Office, Tulsipur.
