Baskota said that the right to information is a natural right of the general public and its full implementation should be done. He said that since the constitution has given the right to information as a fundamental right, no one can thwart it. He said that the right to information should be within the reach of the general public to strengthen and consolidate this system of the country.
Palpa Chief District Officer Binu Bajracharya Kunwar said that the issue of information officers is also discussed in the meeting of the office heads and that the constitution itself has made provision for government and public offices to provide information. He said that since citizens have established access to information, all state mechanisms should take information as infrastructure.
