After that, more than 100 pigs in the city died due to this disease, the municipality banned the sale and distribution of pork and pig meat, said Bhupendra Pandey, Chief Administrative Officer of Ramgram Municipality.
The municipality has banned the sale of pork and pig meat at markets within the city and has urged consumers not to buy fish and meat sold in the open.
Fish and meat have been sold and distributed in a disorderly manner at markets in the district. Despite repeated monitoring by the administration and local levels, it has not been able to be organized.
