Police have arrested a woman with drugs from Devchuli in East Nawalparasi.

Police Inspector Birendra Raj Gurung of the District Police Office said that 42-year-old Phulmaya Sunari was arrested from Devchuli Municipality-6, Munde, with 3,000 tablets of three types of banned drugs and 1 kg of marijuana. 

Based on a tip-off, the police raided Sunari's house and seized the drugs hidden in a hidden location. 

Police said that the arrested Sunari was remanded in custody for seven days by the Nawalpur District Court and is being investigated.
