Vehicular movement has been restricted in Gaindakot, East Nawalparasi, from 11 pm to 4 am on Friday and Saturday along the Narayangadh-Butwal road section, which is under expansion.

The Narayangadh-Butwal Road Expansion Project has issued a notice requesting people to use alternative routes during this period, said Engineer Shiva Khanal, Information Officer of the Road Expansion Project East Section.
Vehicles and passengers have been requested to use alternative routes during this period. During this period, small and mini buses going from Butwal to Narayangadh will have to stop in the Thusi area of Gaindakot and large vehicles between Weldiya and Pragatinagar.
Small vehicles going from Narayangadh to Butwal will have to stop in the Ramnagar area and large vehicles from Jugedi to Dasdhunga area.
Currently, the road expansion work is in full swing in Daunne and the rest of the sections.
The work that was supposed to be completed in 44 months since 2075 Chaitra has been extended for the fourth time to 2083 Shrawan 7. Passengers have been suffering due to lack of work on time.
