Construction of school building and dormitory in Dangbang with the support of the Indian Embassy

A school building and hostel have been constructed in Airavati Rural Municipality with the support of the Indian Embassy.

Two two-storey buildings have been constructed for the Indian Embassy in Airavati-1, Dangbang at a cost of Rs 33.922 crore. Village head Nabil Bikram Shah said that a 12-room classroom building and office and an 8-room dormitory have been constructed. Village head Shah said that the building was constructed with 80 percent cost sharing from the embassy and 20 percent from the village head. The newly constructed building was inaugurated by Indian Embassy Councilor Gitanjali Braden. Embassy Councilor Branden said that India has been supporting the education and health sectors through the embassy on the occasion of Independence Day and Republic Day. She said that the school building was constructed under the High Impact Community Development Project HSEB. Councilor Braden said that the project is working in the areas of health, education, drinking water, river control, etc. With the construction of the school building, about 4,000 people in this area have directly benefited. Principal Tulsiram Acharya said that the construction of a well-equipped building and dormitory in Dangwang will help improve the quality of education.
