They have increased security alert by walking 10/12 km along the border area daily under the command of a police inspector. On Sunday, Chief Inspector of the Armed Forces' Dangri BOP Birendra Sen commanded a foot patrol from Punihawa to Banganga.

From Banganga, the Armed Forces' Hardauna BOP is commanding and patrolling westwards. Armed Forces' BOPs on the border will patrol from east to west to Kalyankot, said Chief Inspector Sen of the Armed Forces' Dangri BOP.

20 to 25 armed people are usually on foot patrols. The patrols are patrolling in coordination with the Indian Border Security Force (SSB) at various places. During this, advice, suggestions, security challenges and risks are also being discussed with the SSB.
