Tuk Bahadur Somai, 63, died on Thursday after being crushed while demolishing a house in Beldanda, Nisdi Rural Municipality-5, Palpa.
Police have said that Somai died after being crushed during the demolition of Bhim Bahadur Shahi's house in Beldanda Bazaar, Galdha. Locals said that Somai was crushed when the top of the second floor suddenly collapsed during the demolition of the old house to build a new one. He fell along with the top of the house.
Locals rescued Somai, who was seriously injured, and took him to Rampur Hospital for treatment. Police Inspector Lal Bahadur Sunar of the Area Police Office, Rampur, said that he died during treatment.
