Prime Minister Sushila Karki has appointed Prof. Dr. Bhagwat Prasad Sharma as the Chairperson of the Nepal Sanskrit University Service Commission.

According to Sub-section (2) of Section 9A of the Nepal Sanskrit University Act 2043, Sharma, a resident of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-18, Hemantapur, Dang, was appointed as the chairman of the commission for a period of 3 years on Monday,  the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has stated. Sharma has previously served as the rector of the university.

Similarly, Prime Minister Karki has appointed Prof. Dr. Ramesh Ghimire of Phungling-3, Taplejung as a member of the Service Commission in accordance with the same rules of the university, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has stated.
