The 16th Kapilvastu Festival and Agriculture, Tourism and Industrial Exhibition is going to be held. The organizing committee held a press conference regarding the preparations for the festival to be held from November 18 to December 1 at the Buddha Stadium in Jeetpur No. 4 and informed that the internal preparations for the festival have been completed.
To show the youth good prospects and opportunities in promoting local businesses, agricultural, industrial and tourism-related products and technologies will be exhibited. Similarly, cultural programs, trade fairs and entertainment activities will be displayed. Awareness programs against drug abuse, tourism promotion of the district and educational activities will also be displayed.
At a press conference organized by Banganga Welfare Society, the society's president Rajkumar Khand said that the construction of physical infrastructure has begun after completing internal preparations for the festival. He said that the objective of the festival is to establish the district's historical, social, economic and cultural identity at the provincial and national levels by promoting it.
The general secretary of the organizing organization Banganga Welfare Society, Buddhi Bahadur Rokaha Chhetri, said that preparations are being made to make the festival a means of introducing the district's prospects and opportunities throughout the province with the slogan 'Investment in agriculture, industry, tourism and sports, golden dawn in the hands of youth'.
He also said that preparations have been made to tighten the security arrangements for the festival. A contract will be signed with a private security company to deploy 40 security personnel, install CCTV cameras and monitor the event through drones. Similarly, coordination with the local police and armed forces will be done and more than 100 volunteers will be mobilized.

Similarly, The 14th Kapilvastu Dance Idol competition will be held as a special attraction of the festival.
