Police have seized three tractors on charges of illegally extracting riverine materials. The tractors were seized on Thursday while they were illegally extracting stones from the Raji Khare River in Babai Rural Municipality-4.
District Police Spokesperson DSP Chakra Bahadur Shah said that the Area Police Office, Khilatpur, has seized one tractor with untested registration number Ra 1 Ta 2815 and Ra 1 Ta 4483, while the Area Police Office, Hapure, has seized two tractors with registration number Ra 1 Ta 2815 and Ra 1 Ta 4483.
DSP Shah informed that all three tractors were seized at the Rohbar of Babai Rural Municipality and revenue was collected by imposing a fine of Rs 10,000 per tractor.
