The Arghakhanchi Court has released from custody three people arrested on charges of involvement in arson and vandalism at Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya's house in Hatari, Sandhikharka.
They were released on Thursday after a single bench of District Judge Shivlal Pandey ruled that the three were not involved in the arson, arson, and incitement to violence during the Gen-G protest on Bhadra 24 and that they did not appear in the videos and photos, so they were not investigated by extending their remand.

Chief Minister Acharya's wife Deepa Acharya had filed a complaint in the District Court Arghakhanchi against 11 people, including Khanal, Gaudel, and Dhungana, alleging that they had set fire to and vandalized the house. On Bhadra 24, Chief Minister Acharya's house in Hatari, Sandhikharka, was vandalized and set on fire during the Gen-G protest. Based on the same complaint, the police had taken three people into custody from the market on Wednesday for investigation on charges of criminal nuisance.
The court's Johari said that the house was vandalized and set on fire, causing damage of Rs 3.553 million and making the physical structure uninhabitable.
