Six tigers have died of natural causes in the Bardiya National Park in the past four years. Of these, three are males, two are females, and one is a cub, said Saroj Mani Poudel, Senior Conservation Officer, Information Officer of the Bardiya National Park.

Bardiya National Park has become a major destination for tourists, saying that tigers can be easily seen. The tiger census will be conducted from December and the rhino census will be conducted from Chaitra.
