Bhagwati Secondary School in Bhumikasthan Municipality-9, Deva, is going to collect money and establish a revolving fund by playing Deusi Bhailo. During Tihar, officials of the Teachers, Students and Parents Association and parents went door to door and played Deusi Bhailo.
Krishna Khanal, the school principal, said that 600,000 rupees have been collected so far. Khanal said that there is a plan to build a revolving fund and a Saraswati temple in the school from this amount.
The revolving fund money will be spent on students. The emotional bond between the school and the community has been further strengthened through Deusivhailo and the money was collected from the village to be spent in the social sector, said Bishnu Prasad Marasini, the chairman of the school management committee.
