An injured leopard cub has been found in Khalla Katarniya, Barbardiya Municipality-9.

Police have said that a 4-month-old leopard cub has been found on the East-West Highway near Bardiya National Park.

The male leopard, which had an injury to its leg, has been rescued by the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police. 

Information Officer and DSP of the District Police Office, Bardiya, Devendra Malla, said that the rescued leopard was taken for treatment by a team deployed from Rammapur in the park.
