Two people have died when two motorcycles collided with each other.
Police Inspector Jhalak Prasad Sharma said that the accident occurred when a motorcycle driven by Tara Belbase (LW 58 Pa 778) coming from Saurekhola in Chhatradev Rural Municipality-1 towards Durga Phat collided with a motorcycle driven by Suman Sunar (LW 33 Pa 6544) coming from the opposite direction at Saurekhola in Kharjang on Wednesday evening.
Belbase, 21, and Sunar, 35, died while undergoing treatment at the Public Lumbini Hospital Pvt. Ltd. in Kharjang, on the border of Arghakhanchi and Gulmi. Belbase is from Maidan, Panini Rural Municipality-5, Arghakhanchi, while Sunar is a local of Dauga Mohor village in Chhatrakot Rural Municipality-6, Gulmi.
18-year-old Deepa Koirala of Maidan, who was sitting behind the motorcycle, and 44-year-old Suraj Sunar of Dauga, who was sitting behind the motorcycle, were seriously injured. Arghakhanchi police have said that those who suffered head injuries have been referred to Lumbini Medical College Prabhas Palpa for further treatment.
