Adventure game zipline has been operating in Chhatrakot since January last year. Chhatrakot Rural Municipality has constructed a zipline from Chhatrakot Devalaya Temple to Devi Bhagwati Temple in Ward No. 3 to make it an internal and external religious tourist destination.

The zipline with a length of 1,800 meters and a height of 67 meters was built by Sanu Setidevi Construction Pvt. The tourism structure has been prepared in partnership with the Lumbini state government and Chhatrakot rural municipality's budget. The fee for zipline game is Rs 400 per person, Rs 300 for students, Rs 500 for non-municipal citizens and Rs 1,500 for foreign citizens.

In Madane rural municipality-7, zipline and sky cycling were inaugurated in Rolma Tikhechuli only a few weeks ago. Argha Construction Pvt Ltd completed the construction of Rolma Tikhechuli Tourism Infrastructure at a total cost of 74 lakh 25 thousand rupees for tourism promotion.

zipline is 320 meters long and sky cycling is 90 meters long. Both are double. Two people can do zipline and two people sky cycling at the same time. The rural municipality is preparing for its management and operation.

For zipline and sky cycling in Resunga area, the municipality has entrusted Khanal Enfra Pvt. Resunga Municipality Information Technology Officer Suresh Khanal informed that the zipline will be 425 meters long and the sky cycling will be 180 meters long. The construction of these tourist structures will be completed by the end of December.

These tourist structures built by the municipality are busy during festivals, but are deserted at other times. Instead of increasing the internal income of the municipality from these structures, difficulties are also seen in the operation of Jenten. So far, these structures owned by the municipality are said to be operated in collaboration with the private sector, but so far the private sector has not been prepared spontaneously.

Chhatrakot Rural Municipality President Ram Prasad Pandey said through a press conference held before the operation of the zipline that all the municipalities should not prepare tourism infrastructure at the same time. "In order not to build a single tourism infrastructure, I say through personal means and through these media," he said, "different and separate structures should be prepared by introducing different technologies." However, due to the lack of integrated planning and debate, tourist structures of the same nature are being prepared.

Sudarshan Khanal, a tourism businessman, says that Gulmi's tourism will not develop due to the fact that the municipality has forgotten its identity and is boasting of a tourist structure of the same nature. "When all the municipalities are only after zip lines, our specialties have been overshadowed," he said, "tourist structures should be prepared with our identity." He said that the municipality should engage in suitable tourism development.

Dron Bahadur Khatri, head of District Coordination Committee Gulmi, said that although it is good that there is competition in development, we should take care of the far-reaching effects. "It is not good to have competition in the construction of adventure sports structures," he said.
