22 people died in 536 vehicle accidents during Dasain in Lumbini province. These accidents took place in 12 districts of Lumbini province during a period of 14 days from Ghatasthapana on October 6th to Purnima on October 19th.

At least one vehicle accident has occurred in Rukum East. 2 people were injured in it. 135 in Rupandehi, 99 in Banke, 93 in Bardia, 50/50 in Nawalparasi West and Dang, 44 in Kapilvastu, 23 in Palpa, 19 in Gulmi, 13 in Pyuthan, 10 in Arghakhanchi, 7 in Rolpa. 7 people died in Rupandehi, 4 in Banke, 3 in Kapilvastu, 3 in Bardia, 2/2 in Palpa and Arghakhanchi and 1 in Dang.
