6 more prisoners who escaped from Tulsipur jail have been arrested.

Those arrested are Basant Sarki of Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-5 who is serving 12 years of imprisonment in the rape case, Manoj Chaudhary of Ghorahi-17 who is serving 8 years of imprisonment and Jiupal Damai of Kalimati rural municipality-7 of Salyan who is serving 14 years of imprisonment.

Similarly, Budhram Chaudhary of Rapti Rural Municipality-8 Pipri, who is serving 15 years imprisonment in the case of duty killing, Narayan Ghartimar of Ghorahi sub-metropolis-13 Moula, who is serving 7 years imprisonment in the extortion case, and Sunil Nepali of Garhwa Rural Municipality-1, who is serving 18 years imprisonment in the extortion case, have been arrested.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Shah informed that they were arrested from August 17 to October 21 and handed over to the prison office Tulsipur.

124 and 129 prisoners escaped from Tulsipur jail on 24th and 25th by breaking the main gate of the jail. Earlier, 155 people were arrested.
