On Mahanavami, the ninth day of Bada Dasain, devotees thronged the Shaktipeeths of East and West Nawalparasi from early morning till late evening on Wednesday. In the temple, there is a crowd of people worshiping the goddess and offering Jamra.
Daune Devi of East Nawalparasi, Maharajthan, Maulakalika Gaindakot Worship is being done at Palhi Bhagavati and other Shaktipeeths in West Nawalparasi. 
In addition to the occasion of Dasain, the number of people shopping in markets and shops has also increased.
