Heritage Family Restaurant is located on Tilottama-6 old road in Rupandehi. The owner of the said restaurant is Krishna Prasad Ghimire. It has been 9 years since he started this business. In his restaurant, he has the facility of cooking meals according to the wishes of the customers, giving them to the customers, packaging them and delivering them to the customers.

He started the business with 6 lakh rupees and has now invested more than 1.5 lakh rupees. Krishna does not work alone in the restaurant . He is survived by his wife Shanta, elder son Ashish, his brother's children and a helper . Until 18 months ago, younger son Abhishek also worked in the restaurant. Now he has gone to America to get higher education .

In the year 2055, Krishna, who was an employee of the Nepal Police, became distant from his family after a peaceful inter-caste marriage. He came to Lamjung for work and fell in love with Gurung Tharki Shanta and married her.

Shanta, who was born and studied in Dudhpokhari-5 of Lamjung, used to dance and sing in the cultural group during the Maoist armed conflict in the village of Lamjung. Seeing Shanta at that time, Krishna liked him . After the wedding, when they reached Krishna's house Gulmi Madane through Pokhara, the Maoists surrounded them and did not let Krishna go back to the police job.

At that time, the eldest son was born. Even though he did farming in the village, doing small business, buying and driving a car, he was not successful in anything. Then he reached Saudi Arabia . While living there for 12 years, he missed his family, 2 sons very much. He came back saying that he would do something in Nepal and opened a restaurant with his family.

He learned the art of cooking in Saudi. Taught Shanta . Now both of them work in the kitchen and cook. Ashish helps in delivering, washing dishes, taking orders. My brother's children need cooking materials, they have to make honey and they are employed to deliver the goods. It has a peaceful experience of running a business with family help.

Shanta, who has been doing business and farming in the mountains while raising her two young sons, said that after her husband came, working together and having fun together is the most satisfying thing . She said that it is a good luck to be together with everyone during the festival. She said that since she was very young, she worked together with her son as she worked with her. Eldest son has passed graduation . She said, "Since the eldest has studied hotel management, he also cooks". The younger son is studying in America.'

It has become easy for Krishna to move forward with his family in business and to live his life. When crying, laughing, when you want to say something, when you say yes or no, you can discuss it among the family, you can draw a conclusion, it gives you confidence and courage to do it,' he says, 'Sometimes there are difficult situations, but when all the members of the family are with you, I have felt many times that the complexity becomes easier.'

There was a time when acquaintances did not give credit to his family . After getting better at the restaurant, Shanta said that now she doesn't have to say what to do for 20/25 lakhs. He said that this business was able to make people.

Krishna has educated both his sons by doing business. He said that he was able to collect the additional amount of 1.5 million from his business when his younger son went to America. "I saved money to build a house while I was abroad, some loans were also paid from this shop," he added, "we don't have a say in who should do what, we will do whatever we see."

'Eldest son Ashish says that if he can increase it, the business will flourish even more,' Krishna said, 'It makes me happy when everyone works together and hearing his son say this.'

His idea is to do this until he is able to invest and if he can save some money, he will build a more orderly building and run the business. He said that since they are not able to work as they get older, it will be fun for their son to stay with them by doing business here. Krishna and Shanta said that the family's unity and companionship gave them a sense of belonging and satisfaction in every moment of their lives.
