Domestic and foreign tourists have started coming in to see Krishnasar, which is listed among the rare wild animals of the country. Tourists who came to see Bardiya National Park have started coming to Khairapur, Gulria Municipality-2, which is about 45 km away.

Krishnasar is called Black Buck in English. In the last fiscal year 081/082, 4 thousand 600 tourists from Swadeshi, SAARC and abroad visited Krishnasar. Ramu KC, ranger of the Krishnasar conservation area, said that 107 foreigners, 13 SAARC and 4587 Nepali tourists visited during the same period. 

Till the first week of October this year, 493 domestic and foreign tourists have come. He said that only 2 foreign tourists came during this period. Fewer tourists came due to the rainy season.

Even though tourists come in, there are no resorts, hotels or homestays to eat and stay in this area. For the development of conservation area, entry fee has been charged from tourists.
