The Siddhartha Udyog Commerce Association at Bhairahwa in Rupandehi is going to operate Dasain market from the second week of October. According to the association, the market is going to be operated with the aim of providing cheap, accessible and quality products to the consumers in the unfavorable situation of the country.

The association has organized a press conference on Monday morning and said that the cheap market will be conducted from October 8th to 12th. Netra Prasad Acharya, president of the association informed that a market will be conducted in the hall of the association to promote indigenous and local products. According to the association, the market will increase consumer awareness about fair prices.

'Free stalls will be provided to provide cheap goods to consumers,' he said, 'The aim is to encourage consumers to buy indigenous goods on festivals such as Dasain, Tihar and Chhath.' The five-day market will have 14 stalls of daily consumable food, dishes, shoes-shoes and home-made products. The association expects a turnover of 50 to 60 lakh rupees from this market. association, said that the consumers will be able to buy at the same cheaper price compared to outside in the market organized on the occasion of Dasain. He said that this time, stakeholders including the district administration have also requested for cheap market operation. "As it happens, the aim is to give relief to the consumers," he said, "Because only indigenous products are kept in Dasain market, the industry is also encouraged."

Sangha, which has previously conducted Dasain market four times, said the former president of the association, Kul Prasad Neupane. He said that due to unfavorable conditions in the country and no big festival organized by the association, the bazaar is being conducted every year. According to him, the Dasain market will be conducted every day from 11 am to 7 pm.
