The civil society, organizations and individuals in the district have helped to run the service from the government office that was burnt down in Rupandehi during the movement on August 23 and then the demonstration on August 24 under the leadership of Jen-G. Organizations and individuals in Rupandehi are cooperating to return the office to its original state, which has been disrupted due to vandalism and arson.

During the agitation, the area police office located in Tilottama Municipality-9 of the district was set on fire and vandalized and all the materials and vehicles there were burnt and destroyed. A local Tilottama Guy's organization took a helping hand to paint and collect materials for the office which has nothing left so that the police can provide services to the citizens. 

The organization has made the office suitable for providing services by painting the office including necessary furniture, electrical wiring and other necessary materials from 25th of August. The president of the organization Poojan KC said that after the incident during the protest caused damage to the service providing agency, they should be the leaders and help the police office by gathering support from the local leaders. He said that along with the area police office, the traffic police office in Mangalapur was also damaged, so they are also working there to help. "We did not participate in the movement, since we have been doing social work since the foundation of the organization, we went ahead with this noble work," he said, "we are purchasing the necessary materials and providing them to the office from wherever we receive material or financial support." He said that the elders of the district are supporting and assisting in their work. 

The Jan Utthan Savings and Loan Cooperative Organization also assisted in that office. He has provided materials like computers, lowbeds, drawers. Furniture, office vehicle, 2 motorcycles of police personnel, motorcycles under control, other materials were all burnt down in the said office, informed Sudeep Ji, the in-charge. He said that he was able to attend the service of the citizens with the support of the supporting organizations.

The protestors also ransacked and set fire to the local administration office in Butwal. The service of the said office was completely closed . Now the office staff has said that they have moved towards cleaning and making the office workable. Ramchandra Aryal, the head of the office, said that those who come to the office from early morning do whatever work they can. He said that since it was not possible to get the budget from the center recently, they could have requested the organizations here to provide services to the beneficiaries. Bhupusaiyan Kalyankari Manch will install glass in the office, Rupandehi Udyog Sangh will provide computers and printers. Similarly, Aryal said that he has requested the relevant organization for dyeing. He said that the minimum service should not be stopped and the work of providing copies of citizenship and new citizenship will be started from Sunday. In addition, he informed that he is providing service to the citizens who need national identity cards and passports in coordination with the district administration office.
