The sixth session of the Lumbini State Assembly has ended. The Provincial Assembly Secretariat issued a notice on Thursday and informed that the sixth session of the Provincial Assembly has ended since 12:00 on August 31.

The Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, Durbarkumar Pun, issued a notice and the Provincial Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar informed that the sixth session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly has ended on 31 August 2082 at 12:00 pm according to Article 2 of the Constitution of Nepal 183. According to Secretary Pun, 17 meetings have been held in the sixth session which started on 31st Baisakh 2082. The government's policy and program and budget for the current year were passed in the

meeting. From the first to the 12th meeting of the session, the members of the provincial assembly discussed policy and program, pre-budget, etc. The budget was presented in the 13th meeting of the convention. The discussion on the budget started from the 14th meeting. In the 15th meeting, weekly discussion on the Finance Bill, in the 16th meeting, weekly discussion on the Appropriation Bill  The 17th meeting passed the budget . 

After the passage of the budget, the session, which was adjourned until further notice, has come to an end with effect from 31st of August.

Although two bills were registered in the sixth session of the Provincial Assembly, they could not be discussed. According to Secretary Pun, the bill made to amend the Act 2076 regarding the facilities of local level officials and members and the bill made to amend the Act 2075 regarding the operation of District Assembly and District Coordinating Committee were registered in the Provincial Assembly.
