In a prayer held at the Mayadevi temple complex under the auspices of the Lumbini Buddhist Dharma Sangha, he prayed for the speedy recovery of the youth who were injured in the agitation. The program organized under the coordination of Bhikshu Sagar Dhamma, the advisor of the association, was attended by monks, nuns and lama-guru of Lumbini-based Theravada and Mahayani sects.
Similarly, it was also wished that peace, harmony and tolerance prevail throughout the country. On that occasion, 108 dwipas were lit in front of the Mayadevi temple gate according to Buddhist tradition.
