Bardiya Barbardiya municipality-9 Bangai, 53-year-old fugitive accused Hariraj Upadhyay of extortion case has been arrested, police said.
Kalu Damai, a 73-year-old Kalu of Kailali Ghodaghodi Municipality-6, has arrested a fugitive accused in the extortion case. He absconded from Dang Tulsipur Jail, District Police Office, Bardia Information Officer and DSP Chakradamar Pal said. Man Bahadur Vick, aged 40/041, who absconded from Darchula Jail, has been arrested.
'He is a fugitive prisoner of Surkhet Maintara Rural Municipality-2 who has been arrested in the human trafficking case', DSP Pal said, '49-year-old Maniram Damai of Bardia Baghaiyatal Rural Municipality-7 Pachasha has been arrested as a fugitive prisoner from Central Jail Sundhara Prison. He is charged with extortion.
So far seven escaped prisoners have been arrested in Bardia, the police said.
