Legal practitioners of Nepalgunj have started free online legal consultation services. The Public Interest Legal Practitioners Group (PIL Group) has decided to provide free legal consultation services until regular services are conducted by the court.
Due to arson, vandalism and looting, the Supreme Court, High Court, District Court, Public Prosecutor's Office, Bar Building and other government and local bodies offices were completely damaged. The regular justice administration work and service flowing from the court is completely closed indefinitely.
After the closure of the justice administration, the group's coordinator, Senior Advocate Sunil Kumar Shrestha, said that free legal consultation services were conducted with the aim of providing regular information about the court process, limits, deadlines, appearance, dates, etc.
According to him, senior advocate Lok Bahadur Shah, advocates Vasant Gautam, Bal Bahadur Chand, Vikas Acharya, Bishwajit Tiwari, Sunita Sharma and Kewalsingh Tharu will provide free legal consultation services.
