Kantipur worker Manoj Paudel was honored with KT award on Sunday. On the occasion of the 18th National Library Day, the 13th Annual General Meeting of Lumbini Tinau Community Library and Resource Center was awarded by Kushmakhar Trust towards Journalism category. Kushmakhar Trust (KT) has been giving awards every year.
Mayor Phanendra Prasad Sharma presented certificates and cash prizes in a program organized at Basgadhi of Saina Maina municipality. It was announced in the program that the award was given for the important contribution by highlighting the tourism attraction of the Greater Lumbini region, peace and spiritual tourism development in Mofasal through news writing and photojournalism.
Along with Kantipur worker Poudel, Sumina Kunwar of Rupandehi for literature and Basanta Kunwar Silwal, health worker of Palpa, were also given the award by Mayor Sharma.
