Thakurbaba municipality has increased the monthly allowance of the principal from primary school to high school which is being provided by the federal government.
Mayor Tilak Lamsal said that the meeting of the education committee held on Friday increased the allowance given by the federal government to 3000 rupees.
Nima was previously receiving a monthly allowance of 300 from the federal government, which has been increased by 8.33 percent to 2500. City chief Lamsal said that the government has increased the amount from 200 rupees to 1000 percent to 2000.
Ramhari Rizal, the chief administrative officer of the municipality, said that the principal will spend an additional 600,000 budget annually to carry out innovative work in the school. He said that this decision was made to improve the education of the municipality, maintain high morale, and enhance efficient leadership and accountability.
