Police have seized a truck used for smuggling along with 18 bulls from Bardghat in West Nawalparasi.

Truck No. 6K 9177 was taken into custody at TCN Chowk of Bardghat Municipality-4, which was going from west to east. Police found 18 cows inside the truck during the check. Police said that one of them was found dead.

The bull has been handed over to Kamdhenu Cowshala in Sunwal Municipality-3 Kirtipur.

The truck driver involved in the incident, 28-year-old Toy Nath Sivakoti of Makwanpur, Hetaunda-19 Bastipur, has been detained and necessary investigations are being carried out.
