Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) led by Upendra Yadav has opposed the Nepal Land Bill. Jaspa Nepal District Committee, Rupandehi protested against the Land Bill in Bhairahawa on Thursday.

Siyaram Yadav, president of Jaspa Nepal Rupandehi, said that the demonstration was carried out according to the instructions of the party's central and state committees. The protest started from the Ram Janki Hanuman Temple located in Siddharthnagar Municipality-4 and reached Milan Chowk via Piprahia Chowk, Gallamandi and turned into a protest meeting.

Speaking at the protest meeting, Kailash Gurung, a central member of Jaspa Nepal, said that they were forced to take part in the protest. He warned that the government considers this movement weak and will proceed more strongly. He accused the present government of not being able to solve the problems of the farmers.

Similarly, the central member of the party, Neelam Yadav, claimed that the land bill is not in favor of the people. She said that after JSP Nepal did not allow the land bill to be passed, party president Upendra Yadav was tried to be framed. She said that the current government is trying to turn Madhesh into a desert by destroying the forest.

JSP Nepal has said that the land related bill is not in the interest of the country and the people, it will be in the interest of land mafia, land brokers and it will destroy the forest and desertify the Terai-Madhesh.
