The body of the missing child was found on Tuesday morning in the Ramghat River of Kapilvastu Municipality-3 under Taulihwa-Gorusinge road on Monday evening.
The body of 14-year-old Mohan Chauhan of Kapilvastu-3, Derwa, who went missing in the river while returning from buffalo grazing, has been found. District Police Spokesperson DSP Ripendra Kumar Singh said that a dead body was found in the river near the idol of Hanuman on the east side of Ramghat bridge.
On Monday, 15 people from Nepal Police and 11 people from Armed Police searched for the missing child at 5:10 pm on Monday. The body has been sent to Kapilvastu Hospital for post-mortem.
