The cabinet meeting held on Monday of the Lumbini state government has decided to appoint three state secretaries. The meeting made 12 other decisions along with the responsibility of the secretary.

According to Dinesh Panthi, government spokesperson and Minister of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, secretary Motiram Sapkota has been assigned the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Vinod Lamichhane has been assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Churna Bahadur Oli has been assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation. All the three secretaries have been transferred to the province.

Similarly, the meeting approved the criteria for the selection of state civil service awards. The organization and management survey committee has been formed and the temporary organizational structure for the first quarter of the financial year 2082/83 has been approved. Spokesperson Panthi said that the meeting also decided to approve the concept paper for amending and unifying the media law, to hand over the Nuwakot Cultural Double built with the investment of the provincial government to Tinau Rural Municipality in Palpa's Tinau Rural Municipality, to establish a formal relationship with the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion in Wendigo, Australia and to install a statue of Buddha.  In the

meeting, the concept paper of the Bill on Land Management has been given theoretical approval through the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives. The meeting also approved the submission of a bill to ensure the rights of the Dalit community through the Ministry of Social Development in the Provincial Assembly. The Council of Ministers has also approved the amendment draft of Provincial Health Institution Establishment, Operation, Renewal and Upgradation Regulations, 2082 presented by the Ministry of Health.

The meeting held at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya has also decided to recommend to the federal government for the release of private land held in Rapti Rural Municipality, Garhwa Rural Municipality and Shitaganga Municipality of Arghakhanchi within the provincial capital region with conditions as per the demand of the locals and the recommendation of the Infrastructure Development Authority. With the decision of the government, all the wards of Rapti Rural Municipality, Gadhwa Rural Municipality-1, 2 and 3, and in Shitganga Municipality-8 and 9, land has been released in an area smaller than 1 plant. The government has also arranged for the land purchasers to sign a consent letter to comply with the terms of the integration project. Before the announcement of the state capital, the government had decided to freeze the land on October 16, 2077.
